Treasure Hunt

Post by palkanetoijala31 »

I suggest a Treasure Hunt style quiz based on the 80,s programme with the lovely Anneka Rice and her big bum.The basics are the same 5 clues then a treasure at the end which could be decided by fellow tube challengers what they get?All the clue answers are related to underground or overground or dlr stations may i start with clue 1 the first to get all 5 by pm answer gets the prize?

Clue 1.

A link With Dumbarton Scotland and 1869 this place also has a racing connection?

Clue 2.

A first to be made out of wood then remade in stone a popular London Tourist Attraction connection with a bird

Clue 3.

Started in 1978 this place has seen more upsets and turmoil and laughter and 1 hit song

Clue 4.

A fictional place of a popular tv programme that has a tube station we are looking for the real tube station

Clue 5

An Ace 26 season home?

Is the first station Elephant & Castle?
The reason I say this is that the badge for Dumbarton F.C. depicts an Elephant & Castle. I'm not sure about the other clues though?
One day I shall return!

After Anneka Rice For a short period Annabel Croft did Treasure Hunt.
Whilst Annabel was rather attractive, I do believe that Anneka had the better backside.
EDIT::: Oops... sorry I didn't realise we had to PM the answers, so have removed my answer

If any of you watch Eastenders, the station featured is Walford East, which if you look carefully on the maps at the fictional station (when the camera zooms in on them) you can work out Walford East is in betwen Bow Road and West Ham (i.e. taking the place of B-B-B) on a real Tube map.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
