Nice-looking station! Where is it?

Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

Is that as the crow flies?

Stations G&H

Post by RobbieM »

Well, in less than 24 hours, I had three correct answers for station G, and four for station H. Well done to those who handed in their completed holiday homework before the holiday actually began!

It'll stay open a bit longer, for those who need to catch up with those in the genius class... :D

It would be interesting to see how people worked out what station H was (as clearly nobody was going to work out station G first based on THAT photo) :)

I'll try and remember to publish people's working when I give the answers. (You need to show your working for full exam marks! :D )

Might it be an idea NOT to do that, as it gives clues to people for how to work out future photos?

Good point - I'll let the students PM each other if they want to cheat...! :D

I actually think I might give the hint soon. There was an early rush, then photo views tailed off very quickly. So I'll probably speed it up a bit.

Stations G&H - Hint

Post by RobbieM »

So here's your hint for stations G and H:
  • "Shiny paintwork - have we seen this before?"
Yes, one hint for two stations! The hint is in two parts, but you have to work out which is which....

The above statement may or may not be the case, but you may want to check the date that it was posted (even if it was after midday!)

To be honest, both hints (his and yours) were posted yesterday, so how do we know which one is right, if either?

That did cross my mind! However, now it is the 2nd of April I am pleased to confirm that my original hint posted yesterday is correct. (Even if it's as weird as my hints normally are! :?)
