Certainly have, and a few others besides. Obviously I'm making these too easy!

What gave it away was the covering up of the class/unit no. I thought since youve covered it up it must be a 466 which drew me to the Bromley North shuttle and the *answer branch

Not sure on the bonus it has something to do with the bridge though

Well, plenty of answers coming in, so I'll probably close this round of the competition at the weekend again. But just in case you wanted a hint in the meantime:

Emergency! ... --- ...

Okay folks. This round of the competition closed. Nice'n'easy it seems. And I can now reveal station C to be:

Sheerness-on-Sea

(The hint was 'S.O.S.' in Morse Code, standing for Sheerness On Sea. Obs... :) )

And the unique feature, at 3 miles 73 chains down the track? Well, it's the Kingsferry Vertical Lift Bridge. Unique, because it's the only currently-operational vertical lift bridge on the rail network! Why the ships can't just go around the Isle of Sheppey is anyone's guess (other than that they may meet with the submerged SS Montgomery, which could be an explosive occurrence...).

Into the hall of fame go:

A Challenge
jamesthegill
Steeevoooooooo
michael_churchill
trains 501 (give or take 1...)

One or two of these folks took a couple of guesses before they got it right, but we all got there eventually.

Fancy the challenge of a Station D? It's coming soon. Don't go away!

So, if you want a trickier one, this may be it. But I’m not sure? Some folks may recognise it immediately. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Tunnels are an integral part of our great British railway network, and Station D is found very close to one of them. It’s not a great photo, and I admit you don’t see much of the station itself. But be assured I took this picture from the station footbridge. Admire the tracks between what you see of the platforms, and as they head round the bend into the stone arch in the distance.

(1) Name Station D.
(2) Bonus: When the trains emerge from the other side of the stone abyss up ahead, where do they find themselves? (Does this assume trains have personalities? Oh yes, Thomas, right…)

PM your answers to me, and please don’t leave any spoilers in the main thread. A hint will be available later on. And enjoy! :)

Well, as suspected, Station D is proving a little more tricky than the others, though I have had my first correct answer in.

I'll leave it a little longer before I give the hint, but a word of warning: My use of the camera, and my use of words may have deliberately led you up the garden path slightly. (Not that there's been any lying, but you may want to think out of the box a little.) It's a very well-known part of the network, and you'll kick yourselves when you know it...

I've just realised that I meant to send you my answer, but forgot. I'll send it as soon as I post this comment.
