Name a UK station which could be at #12 in this list (I can think of one, but there may be others). The stations listed below also may not be unique, but where I could think of more than one, I have gone for the one nearest to the centre of London.

1. West Ham
2. Port Talbot
3. (No station)
4. Tooting Bec
5. Pembroke Dock
6. Carshalton Beeches
7. South Merton
8. Plymouth Millbay
9. Canterbury East
10. Dunstable Town
11. Morden South
12. ?

By way of hints:

4. Tooting Bec could alternatively have been Tooting Broadway
6. Carshalton Beeches could alternatively have been Cardiff Bay

13. had I listed it would have been 'No station'.

Currently the sequence ends at 13, and strictly speaking it should never go higher than that.

Ah, your hints give it away (for me)...

I submit
Pye Corner

It being stations with two word names whose initials match those of the actors who have played Doctor Who the Doctor in Doctor Who (edit for the pedants).
Pye Corner = Peter Capaldi
Because there are so few stations that start with J, there are no matches for Jon Pertwee or Jodie Whittaker (or, if you'd included him, John Hurt).

I was thinking of Piccadilly Circus, but close enough!

Hmm. I'm definitely a railway geek but definitely not a Doctor Who geek. However, after some brief Googling, I'm tempted to chuck in a Paisley Canal much earlier (based on black and white films shown in the school assembly hall when the weather was too bad for rugby or cross-country running) and Dalgety Bay as a retrospective successor to an early entry.
