Weekly Quiz I - Les Misérables and France

Post by A Challenge »

I have thought about creating a quiz each week, which you enter by PM and then I compile the scores on a Saturday Morning (Saturday morning, for me, means at earliest the deadline will be 06:59). I would appreciate it if the answers aren't googled, but I can't stop it. There will be a bonus question, linking the two topics.

They will be 2 sets of 5 questions each, on two different Topics. The two this week are Les Misérables and France!

Weekly Quiz
Part A:
  1. At the beginning (of the film), what are the prisoners doing?
  2. What is Jean Valjean's Prisoner number?
  3. What was his crime?
  4. How long was his original sentence?
  5. What does the vicar also give Valjean when he was accused of stealing the vicar's silverware?
Part B:
  1. What structure in Paris is 300 metres tall?
  2. Which station in Paris serves the Eurostar?
  3. Which other country only borders France?
  4. Which french art gallery is used in the opening of The Da Vinci Code?
  5. What is the second largest city in France?
The Bonus Question:
Les Misérables is set in which significant event in French history?

This leaves me with one more thing, good luck, and I hope these are popular!

This wasn't popular, and so I think, unless I get protests, this will, unfortunately be the only quiz.

I let you have it, but I am not going to be as lenient in RE XVII.

Post the next one, up, but I won't bother doing a third unless you get at least two entries!
