Rare Entries XVII - Miscellaneous (history)

Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

Do you think this is too easy or too hard?

For number 7, I have updated the original post, but for number 5, I will do it here:

It means a line that is now operating under the 'banner' London Underground (one of the 11 lines) that was operating in 1890 under its name at the time. This doesn't include (then) main line railways.

What don't you get about it?

Ask yourself:
  • Which lines were operating in 1890?
  • What were they called then?

Well, I am pleased to have two entries to this, but I would like some more entries, so at least tell me if you are thinking of entering, as if I know I might extend the deadline for you, to let you have more time if you need it.

Don't worry - I had that problem too! I found that was because I'd set a really long deadline, though, so I could just bring it back and get more! Also, let me guess who they were - Me and Going Underground
