Yes, your claim at 20:08 was certainly valid, although it didn't succeed.

I deliberately designed this game so that all comments could be incorporated into the game thread; there's no need for a separate scores or discussion thread. However, since there appears to be some confusion, I've explained the principles in your new thread.

Perhaps the best thing to do would be to suspend the game and start again when everyone's sure of the rules.

Fine by me - before this I'd only ever won a cheap plastic trophy in a French Spelling Bee at school in February!
