The Snake

Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

We'll move to West Ealing then.
As I pointed out in my previous post, some of those are OSI's, which aren't allowed.

Iain - as stated in my original post:

"For the purposes of this game, any stations shown as connections on the map count as one station (i.e. Hammersmith, White City/Wood Lane, Paddington, Bank/Monument etc are each one station). London Overground, DLR,Network Rail and Tramlink can all be played, but OSIs are not permitted other than the connections previously referred to."

What I've tried to do is to create a game which even a novice Tube Challenger can play with just a basic knowledge of the map, without needing to know which connections on the map require passing from one station to another, or needing to know a load of running shortcuts and bus routes not shown on the map.

So - new game,do we want to start at Oxford Circus again or somewhere else?

Might as well start, at least this time, as we hadn't decided where to start from before the last game ended so Oxford Circus.

I would say to start at Bank or my preferred King's Cross St Pancras for another different starting station.

Okay thanks - I didn't read back to the start.

A suggestion - for variety - how about starting future games at the last station from the previous game?

That isn't a bad idea actually, but if it is an outlying station (a terminus or last station before zoning boundary) or an outlying end station (like in the last game with West Acton or somewhere like Snaresbrook or Wanstead after the Hainault loop) then it might do to use a random Z1 station. I give it my vote.

Anyway, to the Game with Stratford International
