Seasonal quiz

Post by michael_churchill »

It's a well known (to some) fact that St. John's Wood is the only Underground station which contains none of the letters in the word MACKEREL. How can you do with these similar seasonal teasers?

1. Which two stations share no letters with SANTA CLAUS?

2. Which station shares no letters with either GOLD or MYRRH?

Santa's reindeer...
3. Which station shares no letters with DASHER?
4. Which station shares no letters with PRANCER?

5. Which station shares no letters with QUEEN'S MESSAGE?

6. Which two stations share no letters with CHRISTMAS?

One for German speakers:
7. Which station on the Berlin S- & U-Bahn network shares no letters with WEIHNACHTEN?

I know the answers can be easily discovered with use of a certain site, so I shall speak no more.

How do you think I came up with the quiz?!?

So, it becomes a test of your google-fu, can you find the site?

Isn't that site rather inaccurate (if it's the one I'm thinking of)? It includes the East London Line and several DLR stations (as well as "Devons Row", which isn't a station at all as far as I know).
