And Jenson Button steps up onto the podium. All assuming Red Bull's appeal doesn't reinstate Ricciardo.

So this whole "how many different teams will win the first six races" thing ... who said "one"?

Did not see Mercedes being so dominant and don't think there will be much change for the next few races.

Current stat (Classified results will be used where both drivers fail to finish. A driver excluded from the results automatically finishes "behind" his team mate):
Button was classified, so Button should have a 2-1 lead over KM.
1 FNC Completion (PB: 17:18:18 with G Bryant, A Chilcraft, I MacNaughton)
4 Zone Ones (PB: 03:00:35 with G Bryant)
15 R15s (PB: 01:55:48 with T Cooling and R Jackson)
11 All Lines (PB: 00:44:03)

Just looking through the entries for this, and let's be honest - we're all rubbish this year.

We all thought Vettel would be the fastest Red Bull, but it turns out he's not bringing home the bacon this season. Ricciardo is the future of RB now ...

I was surprised, Vergne and Ricciardo were evenly matched at Toro Rosso - and wasn't Ricciardo getting trounced at HRT?

OK, the results are in. I assume someone still cares about this, so just for you here is how it ended, and who got the most right.

1. How many different teams will win races this season?

ANSWER: Two (Mercedes and Red Bull)

Tubeguru - Six
nozzacook - Five
al - Four
greatkingrat - Five
DrainBrain - Five
Hopeless Traveller - Six
Mr. Foobar - Six

No points for anyone there. We had no faith in the reliability of the Mercedes.

2. How many different teams will win the first six races?

ANSWER: One (Mercedes)

Tubeguru - Three
nozzacook - Three
al - Three
greatkingrat - Four
DrainBrain - Three

Everyone miles off again.

ANSWER: One

Tubeguru - Eight
nozzacook - Seven
al - Two
greatkingrat - Three

Hopeless Traveller - Three
Mr. Foobar - Eight

Only al got anywhere near, but we were all too optimistic of McLaren's chances this year.

8. What will Felipe Massa's best race result be?

nozzacook - First
al - First
greatkingrat - Second
DrainBrain - Sixth
Hopeless Traveller - Fifth

ANSWER: Yes

Tubeguru - No
nozzacook - No

al - Sebastian Vettel
greatkingrat - Lewis Hamilton
DrainBrain - Lewis Hamilton
Hopeless Traveller - Nico Rosberg
Mr. Foobar - Fernando Alsonso

One point for Hopeless Traveller.

16. Team-mate head-to-heads:

Current stat (Classified results will be used where both drivers fail to finish. A driver excluded from the results automatically finishes "behind" his team mate):

I'm not going to go through all the reasons why some drivers haven't scored as many points as others here - it's mostly to do with neither driver being classified at an event. The winning drivers in each team are:

Caterham - Kobayashi
Ferrari - Alonso
Force India - Hulkenberg
Lotus - Grosjean
Marussia - Bianchi
McLaren - Button
Mercedes - Hamilton
Red Bull - Ricciardo
Sauber - Gutierrez
Toro Rosso - Vergne
Williams - Bottas

The number of correct guesses by each person are:

Tubeguru - 5
nozzacook - 5
al - 7
greatkingrat - 6
DrainBrain - 7
Hopeless Traveller - 7
Mr. Foobar - 6

==================================

So, after all that, the final scores are:

1 - greatkingrat - 11
= - Hopeless Traveller - 11
3 - DrainBrain - 9
4 - al - 8
5 - Mr. Foobar - 7
6 - Tubeguru - 6
7 - nozzacook - 5

So it's a tie! Aren't you glad we went through an entire season just for that?

I know my guesses were rubbish, but was I not even worthy of propping up the overall table?
