I can get "November". So again, I win.

Yes, but Countdown rules state that the scramble will never be the answer, as was the case when RELAPSING was the scramble. SPANGLIER was the answer.

We are not playing by Countdown's rules. Will you shut up about Countdown for once?

But that would be against Mr Cameron's wishes.

I would point out that hopeful traveller completely missed the point of my post, which was that one of Rhys1995's original questions was "How many words can you make out of the word 'November'?" (even though that couldn't possibly be a Rare Entries question).

I would also point out that HT seems to be confusing the letters rounds in Countdown with the conundrum. If by some bizarre coincidence the letters RELAPSING (in that order) came up in a letters game, it would be perfectly in order to declare RELAPSING. In the conundrum round you're not trying to make the longest word - you're trying to solve a nine-letter anagram.

In any case, this one's only eight letters, and "November" presumably wouldn't be allowed in Countdown because it's spelt with a capital letter. So it's all a load of sloblock.

Thank you. Why are we still discussing November in January anyway?

Because Rhys is bloody useless at organising his own quizzes.

The last one you set was too much hard work.
