How is that an event that took place in November?tractakid wrote:"on 9 June 1957, the body of a diver was found floating near Pilsey Island in Chichester Harbour."
Very ingenious answer to (8) by the way - "S" is the code for Sheffield but it's a matter of how you interpret "the start of a postcode".

Re: Rare entries X - November
The question was badly-worded. If I was running this quiz, and had asked it that way, I would have no choice but to accept "S" as a correct answer.GuyBarry wrote:How is that an event that took place in November?tractakid wrote:"on 9 June 1957, the body of a diver was found floating near Pilsey Island in Chichester Harbour."

Re: Rare entries X - November
Well, as far as I can tell, we should all be tied on 6.
Fifa 11 is common between GU and GB, We all said November (German, hence the capital N I used), and my incorrect answer for 1)
That means everyone's score is 2*3.

This took place on 9 October. I haven't checked the other answers yet but assuming they're all right that puts Going Underground in third place with 12 points, tractakid and me in joint first with 6.Going Underground wrote:My answers

But if I had entered I would have given exactly the same answers as Neil, so we both have scored 2^10.

Re: Rare entries X - November
But you would score more than that, due to an incorrect answer on questions 5 and 6 scoring 4 and 6 points respectively.

I really don't know what you're all arguing about. My answers are different to everyone else's, so I am the winner.

Actually you're all wrong. The winner is the person who made the most words out of the word "November".
