Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

Personally, I can't cook a dinner. I'll lazily let you cook instead. Right - cook up something!

Are we going to stop there, or carry on until we've completed the network? So far we've had:

Waterloo and City (introduction)
Hammersmith and City
Northern (Morden-Edgware via Bank)
Jubilee
Metropolitan (Uxbridge-Aldgate)
Victoria
Piccadilly (Cockfosters-Uxbridge)
District (Wimbledon-Edgware Road)
Central (Epping-West Ruislip)
District (Richmond-Upminster)
Bakerloo

That leaves the Northern via Charing Cross up to High Barnet (plus Mill Hill East), the Amersham/Chesham/Watford branches of the Metropolitan, the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly, Kensington (Olympia), the Hainault loop, West Acton, and Ealing Broadway-Chiswick Park.

...Carol, his aunt's lodger. Frightened of nobody, the aunt never declined lodgers, although they irritated miserable Ed regularly.

Do I have to do Chalfont & Latimer again now or can I go straight to Chorleywood?

Carol howled out, "Run, lad!"
Ed yelled, "We obviously operate differently."

Via the Watford North Curve:

Carol released one xenolith[*], leaving Ed yammering.

[*]Xenolith - a piece of rock within an igneous mass which is not derived from the original magma but has been introduced from elsewhere, especially the surrounding country rock. (Concise Oxford English Dictionary)
