Yes and yes.

PS - I'm not buying the "I had to Google the link" story!

Even with the link I can't work out what Q2 refers to.

Q2 could be this...

What is the first name of former EastEnders actress Hannah Waterman's dad?

"Write the theme tune. Sing the theme tune."

Correct! That's all 7. I know at least 2 of you got the link. Anyone care to own up?

Got it! It's S Club 7 (Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, and Jon Lee). And I did not already know the answer, nor did I find it via Google.

I'm sure they get up to a bit of woodwork in their spare time though :D

Indeed. Now that one proved a little more challenging than my previous attempt!

I must admit to having to Google the name of the boys in the group. (I had no trouble with the ladies - signs of a mis-spent youth  ).

Who's next?

I can honestly say I had no idea about them. I woke in the middle of the night remembering that years ago someone at work had mentioned that he fancied Hannah from S Club 7, so all I knew was that there were seven of them and one was called Hannah. That's why I didn't get it until the last clue was revealed.

Here's one I've been working on. This is the complete set, but they're out of their regular order (and there's a slight spelling cheat on one of them).

(1) Cider and Guinness
(2) Igor Stravinsky
(3) Theatre critic for the Daily Mail
(4) HMS Ark Royal
(5) An Indian mystic who was able to hide in the stomachs of his victims
(6) Alfred Hitchcock
(7) Seven, but one of them twice
(8) The kingdom of God

Well (7) must be: How many husbands did Elizabeth Taylor have?

I know the theme, but will allow others to ponder.

No, that's champagne and Guinness. But you're on the right lines.
I have no idea on the link.
If you get the right answer to (1) it should give you a hint. (Surprised you didn't go for the "velvet" connection with National Velvet - but it's not that.)

Hint: cider is cheaper than champagne.
