What I don't understand about the scoring system is this. I was penalized for a wrong answer on question 6 (I don't believe it's wrong, but that's a separate issue). So my score ended up being multiplied by 10, because five people had chosen "Moscow" on that round. The fact that there was a five-way clash had absolutely nothing to do with my choice of answer. Wouldn't it be better to have a fixed multiplier for wrong answers?

It does 2x the most popular answer for that Question. You were just unlucky that so many picked Moscow.
At the end of the day it's a bit of fun and a lot of luck.
