Aerial Photo of Station Thing Quiz #10

Post by tubeguru »

OK, it's time for the next instalment of the award-winning* quiz.

But this time, we have a slight difference - the photo is in Google Street View! The only drawback is that I couldn't find a way of getting rid of the big white line on the middle of the road, but it hardly ruins the picture.

So, where is this station? I will give you two clues - it is a terminus station, and it is NOT on the Western region.

PM me your answers by Tuesday the 28th of August, at 19.00

Been here a few times, though not much in daylight hours!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

If you move your mouse off the Google picture, the white line should disappear in a couple of seconds. (But anyway, I quite like the line too!)

Don't think I've ever used this station; I've only been to this place by bus. But now the station's on my to do list.

I might have left the "clue" deliberately ...

OK, so this one is over, and the answer was, of course, Holyhead.

Starkey guessed Blackpool, so not a million miles away in a straight line ...

Next quiz to follow.

And now, nearly 3 years later, I can finally say I've used this station. I visited the place last Thursday during my North Wales tour.

Well, if you feel like doing so, there'll be one happy bunny here, at least. But as the personnel of the forum's Quizzes and Games section has evolved over the past few years, maybe some other interest will also be generated?

You decide! :)
