Please find for me... an uncensored (and clearly readable) numberplate! Lets see how this goes... I can definitely give hints on this one if people are struggling too much.

Please find me a shop with a red post box one side, and a red phone box the other side.

I can see one, and possibly two, but certainly not eight! Are you looking at the same field?

Re: Google Street View treasure hunt!
So what are you moaning about? Do the rules suddenly include something about how many of these things you can see by panning around?

As you have correctly identified that I am intelligent, I won't bother going on about it.scrxisi wrote:"Show a field with 1-6 cows in" <- criteria
"A field with 8 cows in but only one in shot" <- what was posted
You're an intelligent man Neil, surely you can see the difference!? But I'm not arsed, we need to find red things and a shop now

Well, I was in a rush ... and if you want to declare my entry null and void, I will quite happily accept the judges' decision...
You decide - either find more moo-moos, or find some red communication thingy-wotsits... I don't mind.

How about this one from Frodsham, Cheshire: http://goo.gl/maps/7oX0v ? Post box in the side of a phone box.
Next one...Find me a pre-Warboys (i.e. white on blue) junction sign.

Co-incidentally, this phone box in Frodsham just around the corner from where my sister lives!
Though I did say... "Please find me a shop with a red post box one side, and a red phone box the other side."
Well, although it doesn't quite fit my criteria specified, I may let you have it because it's a familiar phone box to me (and I messed up the previous one! )

I'd let him have it because it will take ages to find one!

Re: Google Street View treasure hunt!
Yeah, I get the impression that people are choosing based on something they know the location of, without giving too much thought as to how common these things are. Some of the recent ones have been far too hard, and just put people off looking.
Even something like, "three red cars parked in a row" could take hours to find. People only have so much patience ...
