Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

There.

Next: An octagonal street sign with the name of a rock on the Mohs scale (i.e. talc -> diamond) included.

How are you meant to link to a specific view on Streetview?

The first post explains it. You get the picture up, click on the link symbol, choose shortened link, and there it is. You'll know if it's right because it will look like everyone else's link, and clicking on it when previewing your post will bring it up.

I was hoping Krollo would get round to fixing it. I'll have a search for a smart car later, once I am on a laptop.

Well until someone posts a streetview image of a Smart Fortwo, we're still going.

Although maybe we should have a "time-out" feature on this quiz?

There already is, unless you mean something slightly different. It was intended to prevent people from posting impossibly difficult items. I don't believe a Smart ForTwo is, I just haven't searched yet due to hoping Krollo would fix his post.

Aren't STOP signs the only octagonal signs in all countries for safety reasons?

I honestly have no idea how to attempt to find such a sign... it seems like there is either some cryptic puzzle or reference to solve, or the task is a little ridiculous? Any hints?

The octagonal sign that I refer to are the old kind of street sign, but whatever, it can be any street sign.
