Rare Entries Quiz XIII - Buses Edition (closed)

Post by tangy »

I think I should get back into quiz mode with my own rare entries quiz- so here it is. We have had a quiz about the Tube so here is one about buses...

1. Name any bus body that was designed for the Dart SLF chassis. **Please specify manufacturer AND model name**

2. Name a current full contracted London Buses route that crosses the pyhsical London border between the Thames and the A23.

3. Name a current operational London bus depot that only has one letter as its code.

4. Name a bus type that currently operates with Arriva London **Please specify chassis AND body name**

5. Name a London Buses route that was fully converted from single deck to double deck in the 2000s.

6. Name any crossing of the Thames east of the Hungerford Bridge that motorised road vehicles can use.

7. Name a current route that operates under the Green Line branding.

8. Name any town or city in the UK (outside of London) where ALL THREE operators of Stagecoach, First and Arriva operate bus routes.

9. Name any current bus route operated by Epsom Buses/Quality Line.

0. Name any bus operator that has operated Optare Spectras.

Deadline for entries is Thursday 17th May 2012 at 20:00. Just a reminder to send your entries to me by PM only to avoid giving ideas to others.

I think the questions are a bit obscure! I'm afraid I haven't the faintest idea what a Dart SLF chassis is or what bus bodies may have been designed for it.

AS I KEEP SAYING ... these quizzes are NOT a test of knowledge - they are a test of how well you can research information and LEARN STUFF.

You can do whatever you like. I think it's probably best to have only quiz running at a time though. It could get confusing otherwise.
