Rare Entries Quiz X
I thought it has been quite a while since we had one of these quizzes, so here is one for you! Same rules as before: You must provide an answer to each question, but you are trying to give me the answers that you think nobody else will give. The scoring is the product of the number of people that give the same answer as you for each question, and if you provide an incorrect answer for any question then you receive your points for that question is equal to the number of entrants.
1.) Name a London Underground line
2.) Name a London Underground station that has length of 6 letters or less
3.) Name, per WTT 12, a scheduled terminus for Jubilee Line trains
4.) Name a station that was served by scheduled London Underground services at any point in the period 1980 - 2000, but is now no longer served by LU services.
5.) Name an interchange station (As denoted by a circular blob on the standard tube map) that is located in either Zone 5 or Zone 6
6.) Name a station on the Circle line that has disabled access
7.) Name a scheduled Monday - Friday departure time from Kensington Olympia on the District Line
8.) Name a station that begins with a vowel and consists of only one word
9.) Name a type of passenger rolling stock currently in use on the London Underground
10.) Per the 2010 figures, name one of the top 10 busiest London Underground stations (in terms of passenger numbers entering/exiting)
You'll have until Thursday 19th April at 19:00 to enter by PM only.
Enjoy!

Re: Rare Entries Quiz X
Regarding the scoring, if I've understood it right this would mean that someone who picks common answer for all but one of the questions but picks a unique answer to the remaining question would score lower (zero - as 0*10*10*10 etc = 0) than someone who scores 1 for each question. Just seems a bit odd.

Re: Rare Entries Quiz X
Apologies Iain - it would appear that I really haven't described it too well! The amount of points that you get for each answer is equal to the number of people that give that answer, so it is inclusive of your answer (i.e. if 5 people give answer X, then each person scores 5 points for that answer)

I foresee me having an argument with Steeeeeeeeevoooooooooooo over one of the questions, but only if he refuses my answer.

No need to foresee any arguments Neil - if I've left a loophole in a question then I'm more than willing to accept answers that take advantage of it!tubeguru wrote:I foresee me having an argument with Steeeeeeeeevoooooooooooo over one of the questions, but only if he refuses my answer.
