M45 is the Messier catalogue number of The Pleiades open cluster in Taurus, colloquially known as the "Seven Sisters".

For those not in the know. It should be visible late this evening in the eastern sky as Taurus rises. It's easily visible with the naked eye (using averted vision), but is best viewed with 10x50 binoculars.
