Explain to me the bit in question 10 where you limited the English national side to the men's one? Because as far as I can see, Ms Gillian Coultard has got 119 caps for England. You were specific for question 9, but non-specific for question 10.

In general conversation, 'The England Team' is taken to mean the men's senior side. If you listen to sports reports etc., the men's senior side is always referred to as 'The England Team', whilst any other side (women's included) is always specified.

Then why specify "the Men's national team" in one question and leave it non-specific in another?

The meaning carried over, in the same way as it would have done if I'd have put 'for the team'.

I'm sorry but I'm not budging on this one.

She hasn't started a mass debate about the rules yet. She normally ends up winning after a few tens of posts along those lines.
