OK, maybe I've not been following it closely enough but I'm led to believe that for some reason, one person does the photo quiz while tangy inserts his own photos into the same said quiz.

As I asked in another thread, I was under the impression I was doing round 11 on my own but I now find that I shall be interspersed with tangy. Why aren't they separate?

I might be able to provide a historical answer to your question.

When the Photo Quiz was first formed, Soup Dragon intended to post images every week. However, he decided that he wanted to have the fun of 'playing' as well, so Dr Who alternated quizzes with him. Soon, Soup Dragon became unable to post any at all and it became custom that Dr Who posted (roughly speaking) alternate quizzes while the others were open to anyone to do.

For some reason round 1 ended after 47 quizzes instead of the 'elected' 50 that were intended.

After this, the idea of alternating quiz-posters continued and ever since (probably with a few exceptions) there have been two quiz-posters for each round - one doing the odd numbers and the other doing the evens.

When someone is bored of being a quiz-poster, they then offer up their posting post to someone else.

You have ended up with jamesthegill's job of posting half of the quizzes. Tangy currently holds the other post. Should he wish to give it up, someone else may take it on (or you might end up doing them all).

Why don't we just do a separate quiz of 20 each?

If you're desperate to present 20 quizzes, I don't think anyone would have a problem with you doing round 12 anyway. After all, jamesthegill has done 9 consecutive rounds!

Incidentally, having been absent from the forum for so long I'm presuming noone minds me making such assertions...

I'm not desperate, I was merely trying to work out why we did it that way. OK, the status quo remains and I'll do 10 and he can do 10.
