Great Little Trains of Wales

I've just completed the 'set' of travelling on all the 'Great Little Trains of Wales' (as defined by their discount card scheme) in a time of:

364 days, 1 hour, 25 minutes.

Starting point - Porthmadog (Welsh Highland Heritage Railway)
Finishing Point - Llanfair Caerenion

However there are a number of caveats:

1) One station - Snowdon Summit - was not visited as it was closed at the time of my visit as the café was shut and apparently trains only go there when the cafe's open!
2) Several request stops on the Ffestiniog, Welsh Highland, Bala Lake, Vale of Rheidol and Talyllyn were not stopped at.
3) Private transport was used to visit a number of lines.

If it took you a year, surely you had time to go back to Snowden and request them in different days, no?

Not really because
(a) it's a 500+ mile round trip and
(b) I'd already used the Snowdon portion of the Discount Card on the first trip...
