Just out of interest - I don't plan on doing this myself, but when you do the Class B NY challenge do you have to visit Staten Island.

It's not a subway train, it's a proper one so no.
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

Actually they are subway trains rather than "mainline" trains. Arguably it should be included but historically it never has been.

Again just out of interest covering the 'arrive or depart from every station on every line rule' say we take Times Square-42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal as an example.

We have five lines in the complex; Blue, Red, Purple, Yellow and Grey. So on your challenge you would have to arrive and/or depart this station on each of these five coloured lines, is that correct

Yes, in that case you would have to visit the station complex on all five lines. However you can't always go by the line colours. Where two lines share the same track (such as the 2 & 5 in Brooklyn), you would only have to visit it once.
