48 Stations this summer
People,
I've got a very *special* challenge that I want to know if anyone out there is willing to help me with.
I'm still in the USA at the moment, but there's something that I'm doing this summer this side of the pond that will tie-in with 48 tube stations in London. And I want to know if anyone is willing to visit those 48 stations over the period of about 6 weeks during June/July/August of 2009, and blog about it/post photos.
Does that make sense? Yes? No! Ok, well EMAIL me, if you're interested and want to know more -> geoff@geofftech.co.uk, but only if you have time to do this over the summer.
thanks,
Geoff.

Let me assure you that most of the saddos, I mean challengers on this site will be more than willing to visit tube stations on a whim.

Are we finally to have the Wheelchair Challenge??
Re: 48 Stations this summer
Will Geoff's mysterious reasons linking 48 stations be revealed? And why is this a "Non-LU Challenge"?

If the challenge can be accomplished on weekends or during weekday evenings then I would be happy to participate.
One day I shall return!

I just typed 48 London Underground stations into Google and up popped the TfL site saying that there are 48 stations with step-free access!scrxisi wrote:What's that? Visit every station by wheelchair?

Re: 48 Stations this summer
Geoff's challenge has nothing to do with step-free access stations.
I just gave you big clue above.

It's obvious Geoff is going to be visiting the 48 mainland states of the USA, but i don't know how that links into 48 tube stations?

Ah ha!
Now you're getting somewhere. Can you seriously not think of what he might be doing in 48 different states?

Re: 48 Stations this summer
I was thinking that you could superimpose the tube map on a map of the USA and just see which stations were closest to each of the 48 state capitals.
... I don't think I'm correct...
