Am I being thick, or is there no mention of Ryan in the article? (no mention of me either, for that matter )
I can't believe that the world record for unwrapping and eating the most Ferrero Rochers in one minute is only five. I'm sure I could manage at least six. I might have to try that sometime.

The article doesn't metion Ryan or our superb support team, Rachel didn't get the train home as I drove her to Amersham Station where her other half picked her up from and finally the time is wrong by six seconds.....Root wrote:Am I being thick, or is there no mention of Ryan in the article? Other than that it is spot on........
Oh and I agree that Ferrero Rocher record must be the softest in the book...

There must be more to that Ferrero Rocher record than they're letting on. Maybe you have to leave the foil intact and flatten it out perfectly before going on to the next. Or maybe you have to get a witness statement after each one.

It's on the BBC intranet, so only accessible in house - not on the public BBC website we all use.ping pon wrote:Thats brilliant but i still dont understand why its not a you cant get onto the webpage of it
And thinking about how soft Ferrero Rocher are, I'm fairly sure I can do one every six seconds (have done a test run with a well wrapped Toblerone) - maybe it wouldn't be wise to attempt it just before Z1C08 though!
Holder of the slowest recorded 274 attempt: 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, 17 minutes, 32 seconds.

What a load of rubbish about the Ferrerrrererererrro Rocher. I've eaten eight in a minute. Or was it one in eight minutes? I forget.

What I find bizarre is that they would even have such a pointless record as eating Ferrero Roche yet they won't accept The Paris Metro or Moscos as records.

I think it's because the original information that I gave to BBC 3CR did not include Ryan's details. He only decided to do the challenge the day before.Root wrote:Am I being thick, or is there no mention of Ryan in the article? (no mention of me either, for that matter )

Perhaps there are some Norway and Denmark competitors then all Nordic countries are represented.

I put this to the very Danish Mrs Editorsfoot, she is still on the floor laughing and making a selection of words that I can't repeat!palkanetoijala31 wrote:Perhaps there are some Denmark competitors then all Nordic countries are represented.

Re: GWR Full Network Attempt Fri 18th April - Live updates
I thought I posted this already, but apparently not:
Would anyone be interested in trying to break the Ferrero Rocher record at the Zone 1 day? We could have a mass record attempt. Competitors must pay for and bring their own chocolates. Anyone on a diet or just not interested can officiate and provide a witness statement.
Someone put in a claim with Guinness, could they? I'm only on the internet sporadically at the moment and I can't really find the time.
