Ha well the poor girl seemed terrified! :P

I completly forgot to record it live, sorry. Unless someone else got it, we'll have to wait till the show's over and loaded onto the iplayer.

After doing the radio interview we did some television stuff for BBC Look East, they will be at Amersham at 5:28 to wave Rachel on her way. I would have never thought that Beds, Herts & Bucks comes under Look East, I had assumed it was just Norfolk & Suffolk area.
One day I shall return!

It's only about one minute into the show, actually. I love how our team is always up for a bit of media whoring.

Great interview! Shame I won't be able to listen during the day, I'll have to trawl through the listen agains next Saturday - unless you can convince them to compile a special Tube Challenge Podcast to download with all your broadcasts on the day sandwiched together :)
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

I'm sorry, Luton's Ironman! what the hell where they thinking he sounds about 82. & what possible help could an 82 year old give to young Rachel.
& what is an Ironman, Does he lift bits of iron or something to give him strength? :|

An Ironman is a swim usually held at beaches on the coast followed by a hefty cycle ride most courses have them about 20 miles away from the swim with a winding course to make it there then finished off with a marathon running usually ending at the same point they energed from the swim.

Exactly it's a stroll in the park compared to a full newtork attempt......

Yeah. Piece of cake. There's no reason for these Ironman competitors to be so beefy, either, because the Tube Challenge is far more strenuous and look at most of us!
