Oh it was when we were waiting for first train of the day at Amersham and the station staff said that it was more than likely going to be cancelled and the next train departing was the "fast" which isn't great when you need to visit every station.. :?

So we were busy re-planning a Chesham finish on the platform at 0520hrs...

The first train did run as planned as it turned out, but that was as good as the day got spending nearly an hour at Moor Park due to all kinds of problems organised by Hakan.....

But the fast services call at Chalfont (unless they meant a non-stop Chiltern service), so why wouldn't that work, as you'd just go straight back to Chesham as normal??

I can't remember all the exact details now, I know we had a frantic few minutes looking at different options, perhaps starkey or soupie can recall why this was.... :?

I think the next train would have been the 5:52 Chiltern Train, but to be honest I can't really remember now. That day was a disaster from start to finish.
One day I shall return!
