I don't think this can really be seen as a curse of Friday the 13th - after all, 99% of record attempts do not break the world record anyway!

Commiserations - just don't get too down about it, eh?

I'm quite glad I didn't show up for the start now, at least.

About time we featured on the Tubechallenge.com homepage I feel in the History 2001 to Present section... considering Guy and Noel Galloway get mentioned for having only one aborted attempt visiting 119 stations

I won't be updating it - there's too much to put in since 2005.

The only way is to draw a line under it and start again. I just don't have the time at the moment, and the main focus of the site is the forum anyway.

You can post pictures there too ...

Kevin, I suppose that it'd be a little bit unfair to put our names on the Wikipedia entry, and nobody else's from this forum. Perhaps it'd be better to say something like, "There have recently been quite a few attempts made by various people including users of the Tube Challenge forum." Something similar to that maybe?

John, no it wasn't Wikipedia it was our own home pages, which mentions Steven Kaharan, Geoff and Neil and others, including the aforementioned Galloways with one aborted attempt at 119 stations...

I have been having thoughts about a Wiki for THIS site, so people can update their own stuff on here.

Needs some more thought at the moment, but what do people think about that?

That would be quite a good idea, to save you from the burden of upkeeping it all yourself. Of course with a Wiki, it's open to abuse...
