Walk The Tube 2019

When Geoff did this a few years ago I was unable to do it, I think it's a brilliant idea so now I am in a position to do so I have decided to host one.

https://walkthetube.com/

This uses the same name and description as the previous Walk The Tube, this in no way diminishes the previous attempts or the money that was raised for charity.

You say, 18-19 hrs, don’t underestimate how slow people really are.

Suggest, 20-21 hrs more likely.

Sadly not life, as usual, got in the way. I'm looking at trying to organise another one, but as present I have no idea when this might be. All i can say is stay tuned

If you want to do that I'd be happy to help. Do you know what date CiN this year is? I know its usually the middle of November

Sorry to go off topic, but I'm not sure which thread to post this in. (If the moderators want to move this post into a more appropriate thread, that's okay with me).

My question is this: can anyone confirm that it's okay to use the Overground between Harrow and Wealdstone and Queen's Park when attempting the Tube Challenge? I've read in some places that it is okay to do this but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks in advance.

Yes it's fine as it uses the same track. Same for Gunnersbury to Richmond.

Thank you. Personally, if I were writing the rules, I wouldn't allow it. I think people should have to use an actual Tube train to do the Tube Challenge, but that's just my opinion.

The challenge is to visit the stations on the network - therefore visiting a station by a different train counts provided it uses the Tube platforms (hence visiting Olympia on the Overground does NOT count!)
