All lines challenge is the new black
Ok, I finally decided to try the legendary all lines challenge for the first time this afternoon. Had to slog out to Acton Town in the morning, so thought about the route on the way there. juice-rail had told me the standard route starting at Barbican and using DLR, and I figured that a faster route would have to lose the DLR. Seemed to be only one possible route after a few minutes thought.
First attempt: 4 Stinking connections, several wrong carriages leaving me at the back of several queues to get out of stations. Time was 65:10 which told me that the route wasn't a disaster.
Second attempt: Made my way back in to my start station, and tried again. Despite running the wrong way across Bank 'DLR platform? Oh b***er' I had a much better run with only one connection that didn't work, and got a time of 59 minutes 10 seconds. In rush hour as well.
Does anyone know where that stands in terms of people who have posted times?
Also, that was possibly the most tiring challenge I've ever attempted! It hadn't struck me that I would be running every 3 minutes or so, and after 2 attempts I'd had more than enough. More fitness needed!

Having Rather too much time on my hands, these are the top 10 times to my best knowledge...
1. Geoff Marshall and Neil Blake - 56 minutes and 51 seconds
2. Peter Miller and "Bethelâ€
