Another Zone One attempt

Post by CrunchySaviour »

Today, at around 12, I set off with "Ed?" from Vauxhall on another Zone 1 Challenge. The route was a "dynamic" one, allowing itself to transform from one form to another, depending on which trains we caught.

It ended up being Vauxhall to Euston, and the time was 2h 56m 20s.

Not my best, not my worst. Given that it's the first time that Ed? has completed Zone 1, he's proud that it's his personal best.

Next time, I think we'll try an even better route...

Not too bad at all masker. I did an ALC yesterday- went near perfect except for the last 3 lines (H&C, Met, Circle), giving me a time of 66:53- Id say I was squeezing that route for all it was worth though- doing it in rush hour also caused problems at Oxford Circus. Still trying to break the hour barrier...

It's ALC saturation ...

No wonder I can't keep up ... not that I can be arsed.

I am toying with the idea of removing the content of this website and simply retaining the forum with the pertinent times somewhere therein.

The traffic for the website is considerably smaller than for the forum.

It's fair enough; I suppose that Geoff's site is pretty comprehensive when it comes to most of the challenges anyway.

A forum section containing the best times sounds like a very good idea.
