Attempt 19 - 9th November 2012

Post by al »

I was out yesterday, and was going great guns until 2100 when an out of use bus stop and truly crap underground service (not 'Good') conspired to prevent me getting a WR time, but it was a PB, at 16h 56m 55s. Pleasing and frustrating at the same time!

Still got to do something new in this one, don't think there is much I haven't tried now.
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

Are you going to try that same route again soon?
Current best: 19:51:10 (2014). Hopefully that will be broken in 2018 :-)

A record breaking attempt must bed imminent! It could happen any moment if unannounced attempts are happening! Exciting.

unnanounced attempts are happening every other day thats why current people dont publicise attempts now as ur are not sure if somebody else has gone faster even the day b4?

Al - Well done! Sub 17 hours is always a nice thing. Am adding you to my page here:

Can I ask, was this a day with an Olympia service running (every half hour) or not? (7 trains only)

thx,
Geoff.
I make it 9 trains 05:50,06:06,06:15,06:24,06,32,19:45,19:58,20:15,20:28

It really shouldn't matter whether or not it is an Olympia day. A completion is a completion, no matter which day you choose to do it on. Saturdays, Sundays, Olympia days, or weekdays.

Difference is, you post cryptic rubbish, which seems like you just want to show off about knowing stuff.

As for the R15 crap, yes I am well aware of the rubbish that is going on with that. Well, not that you've really told Matthew a lot other than trying to cause him more bloody stress than is needed to be honest.
