The "Who Cares What Guinness Says Anyway" Attempt - 18 Aug
I guess it's about time I tried to become the 47th member of the prestigious 270 club
So watch this space for updates on my unofficial (according to Guinness) attempt.

So you're saying that the 275 club is an irrelevance then?

I have to say I was surprised to see an absence of your name there! Very good luck. Have you completed the network in previous configurations?

No, my only attempt was about three years ago with Andi, Kev and some others.

Good luck! Even if Guinness wouldn't, I'd add you to the list of the 270 club, if you get a completion!

If you plan to be at Finchley Central somewhere between when you start your mission and about 3pm I am more than happy to bring some water, refreshments or food along!

Well the weather is quite nice at this time of the morning. Might not be quite as good this afternoon though!

Not the greatest start - late arrival at t5 meant I missed the train back out and then a late district to chiswick park meant I missed the richmond train at Gunnersbury.

Isn't the train back out of t5 the same train that dropped you off there though?

Re: The "Who Cares What Guinness Says Anyway" Attempt - 18 A
Actually my plan was to catch a Heathrow Express to T5 and then the tube back, it was the HX that was 6 minutes late.
Unfortunately things didn't get much better, being held outside Ealing Broadway while the Woodford via Hainault train pulled out in front of us was the final straw so as I would then have been 1 hour down on schedule I abandoned.
