15/06/2012 Carwyn's 1st Attempt

Post by Adelante_CCT »

This friday I will be attempting my first FNC, certainly no GWR for me but I will certainly be happy with a full completion, I'll just have to see how it goes. Full write up (assuming the day isn't a total disaster) will follow afterwards.

May I also add my good luck. I might have some spare time during the day (but not the evening), so if you wanted me to come & say hello then let me know. (Perfectly understand if you don't want to though.)

Many thanks to all of you guys for your good luck wishes.
For those of you who like to keep up to date with things unfortunatley I will not be tweeting, however if I get the chance I will try to put a comment or two on here throughout the day.

@Nigel, many thanks for your offer of support however I wouldn't want you to waste part of your day meeting up with me, I'm sure you'll have better things to do! I can guess what you'll be doing in the evening and as a big footie fan myself I am slightly regretting chooisng this day now, although if the challenge isn't going to well I will certainly be abandoning and jumping into the nearest pub!

Well, two suspensions on the jubilee line, one of which affected me, a problem on the victoria which I must have just missed, a suspension on the picc which didn't affect me despite being on it for lots of today, 20 minute delayed getting in to Pad from Reading, and delays affecting me in the London Bridge and norwood junc areas today, and now I see a suspension on the northern, I hope my bad luck has all come today or will tomorrow be more of the same I wonder!
