Isn't there an exhibition service today due to the ideal home thingy? They're advertising the event itself at "Olympia". The advert is being rolled out London-wide.

I think the ideal home 'thingy' is at Earl's Court, not Olympia, so there wouldn't be an exhibition service for that.

We've given up! At Wimbledon, in the pub. The weather is too nice to tube-challenge.

Could still have knocked a chunk off our best time but had rather lost our enthusiasm for something 18+ hours

As it turns out the Jubilee (wasn't that one that had a lot of work done on it?) fell over and ended up suspended from London Bridge westward, making Southwark impossible to get even if we had carried on to Upminster

Odd day really, we were on target for a 16:11 time until about three hours in, then missed a Wood Street train costing us 15 mins, but we seemed to lose a lot more than that in spite of what looked like a very non-tangly rejig. No major issue like cancelled trains, just a steady drip drip drip of 3-4 minute waits and a few near misses. We might still have made 17:11 which we'd have been happy with but then had several long waits in succession adding twenty minutes on, and a couple of near misses took us to 30 mins behind even that
