It's Matts 15th attempt. I think I must be up to about 17!!

Next attempt date has indeed been set... I think Matt is a bad omen ;)

I thought you were on a diet - what happened? Last time I read your blog, you had joined your work's Fat Club, with £10 at steak.

Sorry, stake.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last week - the incoming train to Uxbridge was four minutes late, and while not held outside the station, it crawled slowly into the platform. There was then a beautifully choreographed sequence of it opening its doors as the the one's on the opposite platform closed. What I had counted on as a comfortable connection was missed.

I haven't a clue who these people are, but I would like to put on record that Mr W is not me on this occasion.

Uxbridge has been a major thorn in the side of Brown attempts, we have had "the held outside for several minutes situation" seeing your train pass you and also the "sick in the carriage" delay... I cant recall once ever having had a "sexy" Uxbridge :(

Yep, Uxbridge is a bitch. It's about time TfL adjusted the timetable to suit people who want to go to Uxbridge and then leave as soon as possible without exiting the station.
