Like at Uxbridge, where our train in decided to run a few minutes late leading to the old "watch your outbound train depart" heartbreak that only a tube challenger would know

Exactly the same thing happened to me last week - the incoming train to Uxbridge was four minutes late, and while not held outside the station, it crawled slowly into the platform. There was then a beautifully choreographed sequence of it opening its doors as the the one's on the opposite platform closed. What I had counted on as a comfortable connection was missed.

If those who are out tomorrow (I don't suppose it's my place to name them but I have dug a hole here by suggesting there is a challenge so I'll just say Mr J, Mr W, Mr F and Mr B) could not break the record by too much that'd be great ta

I haven't a clue who these people are, but I would like to put on record that Mr W is not me on this occasion.

Uxbridge has been a major thorn in the side of Brown attempts, we have had "the held outside for several minutes situation" seeing your train pass you and also the "sick in the carriage" delay... I cant recall once ever having had a "sexy" Uxbridge

Yep, Uxbridge is a bitch. It's about time TfL adjusted the timetable to suit people who want to go to Uxbridge and then leave as soon as possible without exiting the station.
