I often wonder how much I've saved in tube/bus and DLR fares since my wife got me my priv Oyster card a couple of years ago. I'm not sure I'd trust it to an entire network run though - they're a bit funny sometimes. I'd buy a one-off paper ticket just for the day to be sure of it working.

CONGRATULATIONS! Very well done indeed!

LU service was of course excellent. Good Service for 98.6% of the day, Minor Delays during 1% and one short suspension.

The disruptions were:
06:50-07:05 Central Line, Minor Delays
07:45-08:20 Jubilee Line, Minor Delays
10:55-12:00 Piccadilly Line, Part Suspended followed by Minor Delays.

To me it seems highly likely none of this impacted "Sam's Killer Route"

I was hoping you'd provide a % of the service as I guessed at 99% good service. None of the minor issues in service had any impact on my route. I didn't have to change anything with my route throughout the day and was ALWAYS on shedule. Couldn't have picked a better day to go out! :)

Whether you mean before the Circle Line service changes or after, I still think a sub-17-hour record is possible. And I'm working on it. :D

You said you sleep in your car the night before. That certainly helps cut costs.
