Amazing effort, I know how difficult it can be out there on your own juggling 3 or 4 things at once.

Mine and Andi's record stood for 498 days, the third longest in recent history behind Geoff on 755 days and Jack on 688 days. During those 498 days, 25 separate record attempts were made aimed at breaking it, basically an attempt approximately every 20 days. Sam's record could potentially stand for much longer, especially if what people are saying is correct with the new Circle line working.

Well done again to Sam - must say that some of the luck that she was getting in the latter part of the day (with regards to things like buses and late-running trains etc) was truly unbelievable - as scrxisi said whilst on the Picc line down to Heathrow "your luck has just been hitting pure, solid gold!!"
Some very close connections made in the evening and closing stages, and where that HT4 train came from is anybodies guess
Next record will surely be sub 17 though?!
