So they're rockin' all over the world? Either that or they're feeling down down (deeper and down).

Looking good!:

19:34 Still right on target. We had a 10 delay on a train, but managed to clay that back. 200 stations done. Next and following updates will be through Steven K.

A couple of more hours and then you're there guys!
Best of luck to you!
:D

The team have aborted and are heading back to Amersham, not sure what happened but I'm sure they'll explain!

I hope it's nothing serious like we had in our Tube 3 attempt. I noticed there were problems late with the Northern line heading up to Edgware, but apart from that the network had recovered from the earlier UXB.
One day I shall return!

Just had a look at TFL and it may well be something to do with the Edgware Road signal failure knocking out the Circle and the H&C...

As mentioned above we were forced to abort, since no trains, literally, were running where we were at the time. This lasted for too long time simply.

After rerouting due to the bomb thing, and still on for a 23.14 finish, we got caught by the Northern line partial suspension totally and the time window just disappeared. Just before we had to reroute (at around 8pm), our analysis pointed to a 23:04 (or perhaps even better) finish. The 23:04 truly was the most likely finish then.

Anyway, we're back at Nita's for a hard day's night...

Thats twice in the space of a week that a record attempt looking to break the existing one by 20 minutes has been scuppered at the end. It seems Hakan managed to dodge all the delays just like my attempt and then ran straight into them at the end!

And so our provisional GWR time still seems to have a charmed life........

The last two attempts illustrate what a cruel game this can be, as we found out on what I think was our GWR II or III where we felt very hard done by at around 1900 hours when we had a complete signal failure on the Viccie line that cost us over half an hour...
These two most recent attempts had been looking good until much later in the day than that........

So the time of 17hrs 56mins and 28 secs would still appear to be the target, subject to confirmation..... Many theoretical routes are well inside this and it does look soft on paper but is proving a tough nut to crack......

Hard luck to Hakan & Lars, knowing them I am sure they will be back for another attempt soon.......

I believe the next attempt is Mr Finland & Co. on 16th June :?:

Can our time fend off yet another challenge :?:

Dear John,
Well I Ain't Complaining that our record is still intact, I'm Dreamin' that we can set a faster time and we won't Break the Rules. In the past our determination proved you can get Whatever You Want and if you fail you can try Again & Again and if there isn't any Rain you'll soon be Rollin' Home to a World Record and for all involved it's Marguerita Time.
Yours The Wanderer.
One day I shall return!

I don't know whether to be impressed or to feel sympathy for such a tragic amount of knowledge....
