Okay, a slight bump, but is this actually going ahead now or what? It's been over a month since this thread saw any activity.

Having given the subject more thought, I think it would be better to avoid doing it near to the 7th of July, for obvious reasons. Also, I'm sure the charities and families got enough money from last year, plus whatever is raised this year, to keep them going.

I'm intending to do 275 this summer. I have heard whispers of lots of others vaguely referring to "this summer" when talking about their next attempt - I presume because it will be warmer, and because of holidays.

I propose that we try and get as many teams to do it on one agreed day as possible. Not for charity, just serious record attempts. And fun, of course! See what the people on this forum are really made of.

See what we're made of, eh?!

I don't think this one is going ahead. I want to do another full attempt soonish. We shall see.

hi all,
I am organising a All lines challenge charity event to raise money for BBC Children in Need 2006 taking place on Thursday 16th November 2006.

BBC CHildren in Need Appeal night is Friday 17th November 2006 and I already have had media interest in the event.

Visit the website at http://www.tubechallenge.co.uk for more details.

Erm, you've put the rules as supplied by Guinness on your site, but on your front page it says:

"What is The Great Tube Challenge?
To visit all 274 London Underground Tube Stations or as many London Underground Tube Stations as you can by using Public Transport (Tube, Buses, Black Cabs, Your Feet) in the shortest possible time."

A conflict of transport means with the black cabs there I think, as Guinness expressly forbids taxis.

Could you change your link to this site so it comes directly to the forum instead of the home page?
