Unwritten Tube Rules
Was browsing Geoff's blog today and saw his comment about helping someone at NHG to which Neil said that that was an unwritten rule of the Tube (Do not help anyone!). So I was wondering what other unwritten rules there are for the tube. Your thoughts please!

Always take seats where both adjacent seats are empty
- unless there are none, in which case take a seat with the fewest occupied adjacent seats
- unless there are none with empty adjacent seats, in which case grab any empty seat
- unless the adjacent seat is occupied by a tramp.
It is unacceptable to look at anyone on the Tube
- unless you look at their reflection in the window
It is considered far too conscientious to open all the vents and windows. Upon entering the carriage, you are assumed to become so apathetic as to manage only to open the single vent directly above you
- unless it is stuck, which many are.
