Whilst it would clearly be both inappropriate and inadvisable to attempt a FNC in current circumstances, I notice the Mayor of London has now announced that the Tube will be running a Saturday service on weekdays - if this applies to all lines, it will mean a much greater service frequency to Kensington Olympia!

You say less people, but I had a go at one of the "alternative" challenges a few days ago and had to stand for a good chunk of Jubilee line because it was so busy.

There was also a service interval of >4 minutes on the Northern Line, which would slow you down more than reduced passengers wouls speed you up, if replicated across the network.

Why not try a virtual public transport race? This will take some explanation, but using online timetables of buses, trains, trams, metro and ferry and starting on a virtual Monday morning at 09.00 a 25 town race across England. As you can gather im bored.

Could I suggest this 'virtual transport race' should have its own thread (perhaps in the 'games' area of the Forum)?

I've been contemplating whether to post a similar idea of my own, but it's somewhat complicated!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

first time i've posted for a while but what it seems like the controllers are trying to do is something like this which means at the moment Ken O does have a regular service

10 minute service is operating between Upminster and Kensington (Olympia).
12 minute service is operating between Wimbledon and Edgware Road.
22 minute service is operating between High Street Kensington and Richmond.
16 minute service is operating between Ealing Broadway and Tower Hill.

That was sent out the other day but things are changing day by day at the moment
Best FNC time

Those frequencies seem very odd, as they don't mesh at all on common sections , and the minutes past the hour fluctuate with the bottom three routes too.
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.
