TfL WTT Working Timetables link
I'm not sure if you may want to make this sticky, or even whether it's already listed elsewhere, but for convenience here's the current link to the WTT page on the TfL website https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publicatio ... timetables
First to 100000 in the 2015+ Tumbleweed contest. Winner of a few rounds of a diverse range of quizzes/games. Some decent times in alternative challenges as a fiftysomething who merely walks briskly.

Should this be a sticky thread?

Re: TfL WTT Working Timetables link
One question that's been puzzling me for a while - on Page 3, the WTT lists the times between stations. e.g. 1 1/2 minutes from Earl's Court to West Brompton. Is this the time from departure from Earl's Court to departure from WB? i.e. does it include the dwell time at West Brompton?

Yes that's right, when I've done timings on the Underground it is from departure to departure and they match up (mostly) with the times in the WTTRJSRdg wrote:One question that's been puzzling me for a while - on Page 3, the WTT lists the times between stations. e.g. 1 1/2 minutes from Earl's Court to West Brompton. Re: TfL WTT Working Timetables link
Its point to point assuming no additional dwell time. Therefore a station such as Earl's court may have additional dwell time inserted and thus the overall time is longer.

Re: TfL WTT Working Timetables link
Now I'm confused! Seems like there's only one way to find out whether or not this route works....

Re: TfL WTT Working Timetables link
You only use the running time to determine a station timing for a station not shown in the WTT.
E.g. WTT may show
Leicester Square 20:20
Waterloo 20:25
But the timings may show
Leicester Square
Charing Cross 1.5 min
Embankment 1 min
Waterloo 2 min
Note how theoretically, you can get from Leicester Square to Waterloo in 4.5 min however the WTT actually shows 5 mins because at Waterloo (a timing point) there is some padding.
Example made up before anyone pulls my timings to bits.

Re: TfL WTT Working Timetables link
I would presume that the shortest a station dwell time could be is around 15 seconds and more likely nearer 30. So in your example, would the Charing Cross dwell time come out of the 1.5 minutes from Leicester Square to Charing Cross or the 1 minute from CX to Embankment?
