Paddington Bakerloo closure
According to the new 2016 tube map, Bakerloo trains will be non-stopping Paddington from 2 April - August 2016, presumably for Crossrail works. This will make zone 1 planning a bit more interesting as you will have to visit Paddington District instead.
They have also removed any reference to exhibition services to Olympia, it is just weekends and bank holidays now.

You'd have to do the Edgware Road run or run to Warwick Avenue from somewhere. I have a few ideas already...
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best
That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.

Re: Paddington Bakerloo closure
For purely personal reasons, does anybody know how much access to the station will be closed.
Specifically will the whole "Bakerloo ticket hall" be closed or just the escalators to the Bakerloo platforms.
It's possible they'll close one exit to the street (one at the top of the ramp from Praed Street down to the mainline station?) and a corridor that connects the area to the larger ticket hall (which exits to "The Lawn" area of the mainline station).

Re: Paddington Bakerloo closure
I did my own recce on Saturday, the first day of the closure, to answer my own question. The entire Bakerloo ticket hall is out of bounds - for my own labyrinth challenge that means that number 55 is now unreachable. Specifically... the entrance in Praed Street at the top of the ramp down to the mainline station is closed; the entrance in the mainline concourse close to platform 11 is closed and the corridor to Bakerloo from the Circle / District line is closed.michael_churchill wrote:For purely personal reasons, does anybody know how much access to the station will be closed.

Re: Paddington Bakerloo closure
So, I got an e-mail from TfL this morning, that Bakerloo services have resumed at Paddington!!! Unexpectedly ahead of schedule?
Confusing, the signature was from Mike Smith, General Manager, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.

Re: Paddington Bakerloo closure
Makes more sense if you know that Paddington is "his" station (along with most of the rest of the Northern side of the Circle/H&C, exceptions being Baker Street {Met} and Euston {Vic}...Tower Hill's one of his as well).michael_churchill wrote:So, I got an e-mail from TfL this morning, that Bakerloo services have resumed at Paddington!!! Of course not...I should stop posting late at night. What I should have said was King's Cross St. Pancras, which is Met territory.RJSRdg wrote:Euston, of course, isn't on the Circle/H&C....
