Tuffnell Park

Post by nick468 »

Hi there,

I'm taking another stab at the Tube Challenge on July 31. I was just wondering, with Tufnell Park station closed, does the Northern Line train still pass through the station, albeit not allowing passengers on or off?

I appreciate with this station closed, I will not be able to say I have done a Full Network Completion, but it would be nice to say the train at least stopped there, or passed through.

Guinness, I think, will allow pass throughs if you are attempting.

No, they're stopping all northbound trains at Kentish Town, and then teleporting them to Archway. The same will happen in reverse.

I'm leaving this post here so that everyone can make their own minds up on which of us is the bigger twat. Clearly there wasn't enough humour imparted in my post ... or enough smileys.

My point is you not particularly fair and balanced to some people call yourself a moderator. You obviously are biased and snidey comments on some people but others are worshipped I will have my day Mr tubeguru and soon.

I'm sorry Andi, but you are the one being a twat here. Neil wasn't even replying to you so I am not sure what the fuss is about.

I hardly say anything from one day to the next, and when I do you seem to take it personally. And not just with me, so don't make me out to be the big bad villain of the forum. It seems to me that you have used my post as a tenuous reason for attacking me, so I suggest the problem is with YOU, and not me.

Yes, it was my second-closest station at one point. I didn't use it all that much though.

I do love the idea of teleporting though! (Might put us out of a job if they invent it mind!)

But it would only be used for closed stations.
