Ignoring the petty squabbles, back to the original question...

Could you do an attempt at the Guinness record while Tufnell Park is closed? Because, before it reopens, Holland Park closes on 2 January until August 2016 and Caledonian Road closes from March to October. No Guinness attempts until at least October 2016?

Presumably all are for work on lifts where they are the only means of access to platforms?

Yes, that is fine, if a station is closed then a non-stop pass through is acceptable. For example records were set while Blackfriars was closed for rebuilding.

Upon further investigation of TFL press releases, it seems the closure of Caledonian Road was postponed so that it doesn't overlap with the closure of Tufnell Park. https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/media/news- ... e-in-march says that Tufnell Park will open 2 weeks early on 7 March.
