As with so many options, Merton South works nicely if the timing's right, but not so well with the wrong timing. Doubling back to Wimbo south gives you three bus options.

it will be in a few days
Haven't "they" been saying that for about 20 years? http://www.tubeforum.co.uk/phpBB3/viewt ... 183#p71154

Or was it opened and then closed again?

As I live right down the road from Walthamstow QR, you will hear it from me first when it will be open. Of the latest meeting of the GOBLIN Users group they had a set target of end of June, don't think that will be met!

As of last week there was a big amount of builders rubble in Walthamstow Central car park right where the path should come out. Therefore the steel fence is still in position. Apart from that it all seems ready, there is even a ticket machine on Edison Close! The route has been named "Ray Dudley Way" after one long serving member of the Users Group who fought for the inception of this link.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

FFS - I was there the other day and all they have to do is move a few bits of temporary fencing out of the way - the path's all there!

Latest update on the path at Walthamstow Central, it is now OPEN (just checked it personally) but someone has forgotten to tell London Overground as although you can now walk from Central to Exeter Road the ramp down onto Queen's Road station is still fenced off!! What use is that?!

Well I guess that's still quicker even with running round to the other side of WQR but ffs, sort it out!
