Well, the event will continue despite the Olympia situation. A completion is still possible, of course. It just makes my attendance more difficult, as it's easier to get to Chesham rather than Heathrow, as Chesham is possible with public transport.

I agree it's still feasible, but only as feasible as any other weekday. If there is there is no exhibition service, I won't be doing it that day. Personally, I still think that there will be, but it's just part of TfL's plan to make finding out about exhibition services as difficult as possible, so that they can stop running them in future, claiming that there is no demand.

Hmmm well I may not be farting now in that case as it's 2 days off work and no point as our GWR attempt wont be possible... Appreciate the info on this though Nigel.....

As for the bus to Shoreditch, a replacement service to a station that didn't exist anymore and dropped you near a kebab shop in the High St

Well, Olympia may well be running. Considering it's in the dates outlined by the FOI requests (which have been accurate in the past) I would say that it's much more likely that they are rather than aren't.

Other things to look out for... Journey Planner should display results for August 13th in a week or so? Not that this is necessarily reliable. Google Maps doesn't currently show an Olympia service for August 13th, but that's not necessarily a surprise considering it's a 3rd party source.

I probably wouldn't have bothered - getting a certificate from Guinness has never been my main aim.

I agree with tractakid that the Olympia service probably will run, so we should be OK. That said, the last time I tried using the exhibition service on a challenge it managed to depart exactly 15 minutes late compared with the advertised time (or 15 minutes early, depending on your point of view given it's once every 30 minutes). There was also absolutely no indication at Earls Court that it was running that day.

The beer festival easily exceeds the 8000 attendance per day that so far has triggered the exhibition service. And if I remember the date has already been listed in a FOI request as exhibition service.

Not sure how much it means, but Olympia services are not currently in JP results for 13/08.
